It's the (literal) found family of it all for me. That's why I love the mourn watch backstory. Family is an aspect DAO and DA2 did so well but DAI barely touched. Lavellan's whole clan can die and it's never really acknowledged.

And I don't expect Veilguard will go into it extensively either given how many backgrounds there are but I'm just loving the potential of the concept. Undead finding a living baby in a tomb, which like?? Why did their parents leave them there of all places? Did they not expect Ingellvar to live?

And then a group of necromancers just have a kid to raise?? In a crypt full of undead and spirits no less. They better tell me at least the name of the main person or people who looked after Mourn Watch Rook. Please, Bioware!
